Cindy Shan graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science. She is now completing her Cornea and Contact Lens residency at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. She has a special interest in specialty contact lenses and anterior segment disease. She was the valedictorian and president for the class of 2021 and served on the University of Waterloo American Optometric Student Association board.

Cindy loves to spend her free time lounging with her cats, Taro and Boba, and exploring the US before returning to Canada to practice.
